Style Guide updates
A New section containing the standard diocesan boiler-plate text has been added. Clerical abbreviations text added, and the notes on referring to clergy within text updated.
Bishop Provisional nominee for West Missouri announced
The Standing Committee of The Diocese of West Missouri has announced their selection of a nominee for Bishop Provisional of West Missouri. The formal selection of the candidate will be the subject of the first resolution to be presented and voted upon at this year’s diocesan annual convention, which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
Diocesan Style Guide – Updates to date formatting and how to render ‘COVID-19’
The style guide has been updated as follows: Clarification on the format of ‘technical dates,’ and additional text setting out the format for dates in filenames added. Belated addition of COVID-19 to the Writing style guide (A-Z).
Marriage and Remarriage section of the Diocesan Policies updated
We have reorganized the previously combined Marriages and Remarriages section into two separate sections. The Policy was converted from a PDF to a web page, and the forms have been relocated
Diocesan Prayer Cycle images are now available to churches in advance
To save churches waiting until the post is published on a Saturday before they can share them, the Prayer Cycle images are now available online in advance for churches to download and post.
Clerical Directory updated
The directory has been updated with all the latest clergy information.
Black and White versions of the Photo/Videography release added
Having seen the photo release image in use in church bulletins we realized we needed a high contrast black and white version. One is now available.
